Low Gi Diet

GI stands for a Glycaemic Index which, simply speaking is a measure of the rate at which our bodies digest and absorb foods (particularly carbohydrates as this is the food type we obtain the bulk of our energy from) to release energy into the body.

The low GI diet doesn’t just help those wanting to achieve weight loss but promotes an overall healthier lifestyle.

Once you are familiar with how to identify foods with a low GI following this diet is relatively simple to follow.

Recipes and meals are tasty and can be as varied as you wish so you won’t get bored of eating the same thing again and again, as is the case with many other diets, and best of all you won’t feel deprived because you can eat treats too!
